Mrs. Nancy Cartwright
This year marks my 17th as a speech pathologist with Oak Hills, and now also at St. Jude, where I feel incredibly blessed to share the school days with my son, Sean, who will be in 4th grade. I grew up in the small town of Georgetown, Ohio, where my family was involved in 4-H; raising market lambs and horses. My dad taught band and music for 33 years, and was my band director, and my mom was the elementary school librarian. She and my dad inspired my lifelong love for learning, music, and serving our community.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Boston University in 1998 and returned to Ohio to complete my Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the College of Allied Health at the University of Cincinnati. My husband, Jay, our son, Sean, and I, are big Cincinnati sports fans and love going to Reds' games, along with canoeing and bike rides together, long walks in the woods, and exploring creeks. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve families in a Christ-centered school where faith and God’s purpose guide how we support and nurture our students.
